Jenahl has led worship as well as being a minister of music across the United States for almost 25 years. While living in Alaska, he has written songs for choirs and praise teams and in June 2010 released his first solo CD called “Heart Music”. Jenahl is known for bringing heaven to earth through worship and praise. His passion is leading and teaching others how to produce true worship through their lives.
Born in Manhattan, New York, raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, Jenahl at an early age was drawn to music. At 4 years old, he lead his first song for the youth choir, at 10 years old, started playing the drums for church services, and at age 12, after years of listening to organist play the organ, he prayed and asked God for the gift to play the keys. Since then he has been playing and singing for choirs, soloist, evangelist, pastors, praise teams, recording artist and various churches and denominations all over the United States and internationally.
Jenahl has been in music leadership, including musicianship, worship pastor, lead musician and assistant northern district minister of music for the Churches of God in Christ, as well as minister of music. He has been a vital part of various denominations, including Pentecostal, Baptist, Methodist and Non-Denominational churches, not just in music, but in the program of services for various churches.
Jenahl is married to Ellie Alexander (Vanilla Bean), they have been together for almost 17 years and they have 2 children, Keenan and Kaycie. Jenahl and Ellie moved from Alaska to Georgia in September 2011. They have been attending Tabernacle International Church since July 2013.
